I first became aware of this paradise in 1956…..4 years after my older brother had been in an accident that had severely injured him and left him partially paralyzed with reduced mental capacity for the rest of his life. It ended on July 25, 1978 when Bud Lewis drowned on the western shore of the beautiful lake named “Spread Eagle” in Wisconsin
