When I was 11 years and 4 months old, I was taken for a ride in a gray 1956 Ford Fairlane 4 door sedan. The owner of the vehicle was my scoutmaster, a 39 year old bachelor who’d recently rented a bedroom in the home of an elderly widow across the street from our family home, a 6 bedroom stucco structure built by E.G. Kingsford in 1920. With Thomas Edison in the 1930’s, E.G. Kingsford had invented the charcoal briquette, but the guy who took me for a ride in that 1956 Ford Fairlane was a pedophile who sexually violated my immature body for the following 18 months until January of 1960.
