In 1967, just five months after he’d first asked the ‘hot’ sorority girl to attend a party with him on a blind date at Iowa State University, Eddie had ruptured his spleen hitting the surface of Blue Heron Lake. He’d fallen in a distance jumping act in a water show and privately blamed himself for trying to do something beyond his ability even though he was a skilled water-skier. After ten days in the hospital, Eddie would eventually be OK with a few restrictions while the emergency surgery left an 8” vertical scar on his abdomen. Early in 1968 back at Iowa State University, the ‘hot’ sorority girl had first asked to see the scar on his tummy and then she wanted to touch it. Eddie’s healed tissue alongside the stitched incision was numb and as the ‘hot’ sorority girl touched it with her index finger, she added a sensitive stroking motion which aroused him. He realized she knew it, but he could not respond nor show any initiative, aggression, or suggestion. Nobody knew why he’d been fearfully and uncomfortably reluctant, including her. From the ‘hot’ sorority girl’s desire to feel Eddie’s abdominal splenectomy scar, he was soon introduced to his first loving normal sexual experience.
